Before you buy
Do the stone mats really dry faster?
Diatomite is porous and pulls water off the surface into the body of the mat, where it evaporates. It is noticeably quicker than a cloth mat and it does not go sour.
Will a stainless caddy rust?
The rustproof lines here are the ones to buy if the caddy sits in standing water. Any steel will spot eventually if it is never allowed to dry out.
Do the suction caddies hold?
On smooth, clean, dry tile or steel, yes. On textured stone or a wet surface they will creep. The adhesive-mount versions are the safer choice there.
Will a three-and-a-half inch strainer fit my sink?
That is the standard US kitchen drain opening and fits the large majority of sinks. Measure the opening across if you are unsure.
